Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Egg Washer to join our farm processing team. This is an essential role in ensuring the quality and hygiene of our organic eggs before they reach our customers. Working in a fast-paced farm setting, you will be responsible for the efficient and careful cleaning, inspection, and preparation of eggs. This role requires early starts and a strong commitment to health and safety standards. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in organic food production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain commercial egg washing machinery in accordance with company guidelines and hygiene standards.
  • Carefully load and unload eggs onto washing equipment, ensuring minimal breakage.
  • Visually inspect eggs for quality, cleanliness, and defects before and after washing.
  • Sort and grade eggs according to size and quality specifications.
  • Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols at all times, including cleaning work areas and equipment.
  • Assist with packing and preparing cleaned eggs for distribution.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations on the farm.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and care.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable and punctual, particularly for early morning shifts.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a farm, food production, or manufacturing environment (not essential, full training provided).
