Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, bricklayers, electricians, etc.) with their tasks.
- Loading, unloading, and distributing construction materials around the site.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including site clean-up and waste removal.
- Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth, and preparing foundations.
- Following all health and safety regulations and procedures diligently.
- Performing general manual labour to support construction activities.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety guidelines.
- No prior construction experience is required – full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid UK driving license (advantageous for site access, but not essential).
- Basic understanding of construction site safety (training provided regardless).
- First Aid certification (can be obtained through company support).
