Job Description
Are you a curious and analytical mind eager to dive into the world of consumer insights and advertising strategy? Cossette is seeking a motivated Consumer Insights & Strategy Intern to join our dynamic team in Saint-Jerome, Quebec. This is an unparalleled opportunity for an ambitious individual with no prior professional experience to gain hands-on training and contribute to real-world advertising campaigns. You will work alongside experienced strategists and researchers, learning how to uncover deep consumer motivations, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform compelling brand strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the insights and strategy team with market research, data collection, and analysis.
- Support in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct competitive landscape reviews and trend analysis.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategic planning meetings.
- Learn to utilize various research tools and methodologies under guidance.
- Help organize and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (bilingualism is a strong asset in Quebec).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated curiosity about consumer behavior and market dynamics.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant post-secondary program (Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with basic statistical concepts or research methodologies.
- Experience with survey platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Google Forms).
- A portfolio or academic projects demonstrating analytical thinking or research skills.
- Active participation in relevant student organizations or clubs.
