Job Description
ISS Facility Services is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Street Sweepers in Dundee, Scotland. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our streets, pavements, and public spaces, contributing directly to the well-being and pride of the local community. This is an essential position that requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual and mechanical street sweeping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collect litter, debris, and refuse from streets, pavements, and public areas.
- Empty public waste bins and transport waste to designated collection points.
- Report any hazards, damage, or issues observed during duties to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic operational checks of assigned equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily targets.
- Ensure public areas are kept tidy and free from obstructions.

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry objects.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar outdoor labor or cleaning role is a plus, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A full, clean UK driving license is desirable for operating some equipment.
- Knowledge of local Dundee areas.
