Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Customs Border Support officers. In this pivotal Federal Government role, you will be instrumental in supporting critical border security operations, ensuring compliance with Australian customs and immigration laws. This position involves a range of administrative and operational support tasks, contributing directly to the efficient processing of goods and people across our borders. You will work within a structured environment, receiving comprehensive training to effectively perform your duties and contribute to the safety and economic prosperity of Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the processing and verification of customs declarations and passenger information.
  • Provide administrative support for border clearance activities, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate information and guidance.
  • Monitor and report suspicious activities or non-compliance issues to senior officers.
  • Operate and maintain various systems and equipment used in border security.
  • Adhere strictly to all departmental policies, procedures, and legal frameworks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
