Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures, learning proper techniques and protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms efficiently, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with strict health and safety guidelines.
- Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding before, during, and after appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with front office administrative tasks as required.
- Manage and organize dental supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all relevant workplace health and safety regulations and infection control standards.
- Participate actively in ongoing training and professional development sessions.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in dental assisting is required.
- A genuine interest in dentistry and a strong desire to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
