Job Description
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team with an immediate start. This entry-level position is crucial to the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are clean and ready for use. We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing machines and maintain cleanliness of all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Ensure proper storage of cleaned items in designated areas.
- Assist with the unloading and storage of food and supply deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including floors, sinks, and countertops.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
