Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Distance Learning Coordinator to join our dedicated team supporting public education initiatives. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to meaningful educational outcomes from anywhere in the UK. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our distance learning programs for public sector clients, collaborating with educators, technical teams, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional learning experiences. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for education technology and a strong understanding of online learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of distance learning programs for various public education clients.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for educators and learners regarding technical issues and program inquiries.
  • Monitor program progress, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement in online course delivery.
  • Assist in the development and curation of online learning resources and materials.
  • Organise and facilitate virtual training sessions for educators on learning management systems and digital tools.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and data privacy regulations in all distance learning activities.
  • Prepare reports on program performance, learner engagement, and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., IT, curriculum development) to resolve issues and enhance program offerings.
  • Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in distance education and educational technology.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, or Blackboard.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues related to online learning platforms.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to learner success.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Experience working with public sector educational institutions.
