Job Description
Join our team at Premier Inn Ipswich as a Hotel Maintenance Helper! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in hotel maintenance. We are seeking enthusiastic and hands-on individuals to assist our maintenance team with a variety of tasks, ensuring our hotel facilities are always in excellent condition for our guests. Full training will be provided, making this ideal for someone eager to learn new skills and gain practical experience with tools and general upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior maintenance staff with general repairs and upkeep of hotel facilities.
- Perform routine checks of hotel rooms and common areas, identifying maintenance needs.
- Carry out minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, fixing small leaks, and tightening loose fixtures.
- Support with painting, decorating, and basic carpentry tasks.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas.
- Learn to safely use various hand and power tools under supervision.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff requests for minor maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
