Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Data Specialist to join our growing team on the Gold Coast. In this high-demand role, you will be instrumental in tracking sales performance, identifying market trends, and providing actionable insights that drive our e-commerce strategy. You will work with large datasets, analyse customer behaviour, product performance, and competitor activities to inform decision-making across various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse complex e-commerce data from various sources (e.g., sales, inventory, website analytics, customer feedback).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, customer lifetime value, and sales trends.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to visualise data and communicate insights to stakeholders across marketing, product, and operations.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for growth within the e-commerce landscape.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimise campaigns, product listings, and overall website performance.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analysis.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SQL).
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or custom CRM).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear, concise recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other digital marketing analytics platforms.
- Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and their application in e-commerce.
- Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail environment.
