Job Description
We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Manager to take the helm of our online retail strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our e-commerce business, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey, driving sales growth, and optimising conversion rates. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a passion for digital innovation within the health and wellness sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Manage and optimise the e-commerce platform (website, mobile, and other digital channels) for performance, usability, and customer experience.
- Oversee product listings, content management, and promotional activities on the website.
- Lead SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and other digital marketing initiatives to drive traffic and conversions.
- Analyse website performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Identify and implement new e-commerce technologies and trends to enhance the customer journey.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and technology partners.
- Work closely with marketing, IT, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive operations.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager or similar role, preferably in retail.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Expertise in digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, PPC, email, and social media.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience within the health, wellness, or nutrition industry.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) best practices.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles.
