Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled E-Learning Specialist / Technologist to join our dynamic team in Worthing. This role is crucial for the design, development, and implementation of high-quality e-learning materials and platforms. You will work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and technical teams to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement engaging e-learning courses and modules using various authoring tools.
- Administer and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex content into clear and concise learning materials.
- Develop interactive multimedia content, including videos, animations, simulations, and graphics.
- Provide technical support and training to users on e-learning platforms and tools.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning programs and recommend improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging e-learning technologies, trends, and instructional design best practices.
- Manage e-learning project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high quality and timely completion.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one major LMS (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Cornerstone).
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360).
- Familiarity with multimedia development software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for minor platform customizations.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Certification in instructional design or relevant e-learning tools.
