Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for independent, impactful work? Voi Technology is seeking dedicated E-scooter & E-bike Fleet Rechargers to join our Nottingham team, specifically covering the West Bridgford area. This crucial night shift role involves ensuring our fleet of e-scooters and e-bikes are charged, maintained, and strategically placed for our users each morning. You will work autonomously, managing your own route and schedule within the night shift window, playing a vital role in our daily operations and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy working independently and contributing to sustainable urban mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and collect low-battery e-scooters and e-bikes from designated areas using a provided vehicle and smartphone app.
- Safely transport vehicles to our local charging hub in West Bridgford.
- Connect e-scooters and e-bikes to charging stations and monitor their charge status.
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report any damage or issues.
- Redistribute fully charged vehicles to high-demand areas according to operational guidelines.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during vehicle collection and redistribution.
- Maintain accurate records of collected, charged, and deployed vehicles through our internal system.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with a clean record.
- Ability to lift and maneuver e-scooters and e-bikes (up to 25kg).
- Proficiency with smartphone applications and GPS navigation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and reliably during night hours.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or a similar field.
- Familiarity with the West Bridgford and greater Nottingham area.
- A passion for sustainable transportation and urban mobility.
