Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years / Kindergarten Manager to lead our dedicated team in San Antonio, TX. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of our early childhood program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children aged 0-5. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of early childhood development, curriculum implementation, and regulatory compliance. You will inspire staff, engage with families, and uphold our commitment to excellence in early education. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the early years setting, ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of early years educators, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Develop and implement an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that supports children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and guardians, ensuring open communication and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee enrollment, staffing, budgeting, and resource management for the center.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children and staff, implementing best practices and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, professional development, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by company and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an early childhood education leadership role (e.g., Assistant Director, Coordinator, or Manager).
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Leadership.
  • Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., NAEYC).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish).
