Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist electrical engineers with project planning, design, and execution tasks.
- Conduct basic electrical calculations, data analysis, and technical investigations.
- Support field teams during site visits, inspections, and data collection.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and drawings under supervision.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
- Shadow experienced engineers to gain insights into day-to-day operations and project management.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or related Bachelor's degree or Diploma program.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles, circuits, and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed at least one year of an Electrical Engineering degree.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) or basic simulation tools.
- Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations (e.g., AS/NZS 3000).
- Previous volunteer or project experience demonstrating practical application of electrical concepts.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
