Job Description
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Federal Logistics & Supply Chain Assistant to join our team in Portland, OR. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about contributing to federal projects and learning the fundamentals of logistics and supply chain management. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to succeed. You will play a crucial role in supporting our federal contracts, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of critical resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of federal logistics operations and supply chain activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and procurement documentation.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations on logistics performance.
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth material flow.
- Help identify and resolve basic logistics-related issues under supervision.
- Process and organize various forms, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
- Learn and apply federal regulations and guidelines relevant to supply chain operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
