Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fraud Claims Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team in Fayetteville, AR. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers reporting potential fraudulent activity on their accounts. You will be responsible for meticulously gathering information via inbound calls, documenting claims accurately, and guiding customers through the initial steps of the fraud resolution process. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a keen eye for detail to ensure our customers receive prompt and professional assistance during a sensitive time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls from customers reporting suspected fraudulent transactions or activity.
- Conduct initial interviews to gather comprehensive details about reported fraud incidents.
- Accurately document all information, including transaction details, customer statements, and relevant timelines, into the bank's fraud reporting systems.
- Provide clear and compassionate guidance to customers on next steps, including provisional credit, card replacement, and what to expect during the investigation process.
- Educate customers on fraud prevention best practices and security measures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition of claims for further investigation.
- Maintain strict adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to fraud claims.
- Handle sensitive customer information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
