Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Function Waiters to join our vibrant team, delivering exceptional service for a diverse range of wedding and corporate events across Gladstone. You will be an integral part of our service team, ensuring the smooth execution of events from set-up to tear-down, always with a friendly and efficient demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up event spaces according to client specifications and floor plans, including tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and decorations.
- Greeting guests warmly and assisting with seating arrangements.
- Serving food and beverages efficiently and courteously, following established service standards.
- Clearing tables and maintaining a clean and organized service area throughout the event.
- Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Assisting with event breakdown and clean-up, ensuring all equipment is stored properly.
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborating effectively with kitchen staff, event managers, and other team members.
Required Skills
- Previous experience (minimum 6 months) in a similar hospitality or event service role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional and well-groomed appearance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
- Food handling certificate.

- Current driver's license and own reliable transportation.
