Job Description
Join Land O’Lakes, Inc. as a vital member of our Gourmet Meal Kit Assembly Line team. We are immediately hiring dedicated individuals to contribute to the creation of high-quality, pre-packaged meal kits within a chilled production environment. This role involves precise assembly, quality control, and adherence to strict food safety guidelines. If you are detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you! Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary. This is an on-site position in our Lowertown, St. Paul facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble various components into gourmet meal kits following specific recipes and packaging instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift.
- Strictly adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols, including HACCP standards.
- Operate efficiently and effectively within a refrigerated or chilled production environment (typically 35-45°F).
- Inspect all ingredients and packaging for quality, freshness, and proper labeling.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with inventory management by correctly handling and storing ingredients and finished products.
- Perform repetitive tasks with precision and a consistent pace.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently in a chilled environment (approximately 35-45°F).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of basic food safety principles or HACCP.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production setting.
