Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Government Food Assistance Processor to join our vital team. In this office-based role, you will be responsible for processing applications, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth administration of our food assistance programs. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to public service. Full training on specific systems and policies will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process applications for food assistance programs accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify applicant information and documentation in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain confidential client records and program data in secure systems.
  • Respond to inquiries from applicants and service providers, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of services and support.
  • Assist with data entry, report generation, and general administrative tasks.
  • Identify and escalate complex cases or issues to senior staff as necessary.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and data protection regulations.
