Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Government Warehouse Picker to join our dedicated team in Stirling. This pivotal role involves accurately selecting and preparing items for dispatch, playing a crucial part in our government supply chain. As a Government Warehouse Picker, you will handle a diverse range of items, ensuring all inventory is managed according to strict protocols and security guidelines. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack items from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and other identifying information against manifests.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or potential security concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and numerical data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25kg.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following safety and security procedures.
