Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Principal to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, leading complex client engagements, and mentoring high-performing teams. The Principal will be instrumental in shaping solutions that address our clients’ most pressing challenges, fostering innovation, and contributing to the growth and reputation of Capgemini. You will leverage deep industry expertise and a comprehensive understanding of technology trends to deliver exceptional value and tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale, complex client engagements from inception to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budget.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
• Drive business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals, and presenting solutions to prospective clients.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of consultants, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Provide expert-level thought leadership and strategic guidance in relevant domains, contributing to Capgemini's intellectual capital.
• Oversee project teams, ensuring quality deliverables, adherence to timelines, and effective risk management.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the practice area, identifying market trends and opportunities for growth and innovation.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in a senior leadership or principal consulting role within a professional services or large enterprise environment.
• Exceptional client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of building lasting partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving high performance.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with an ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
• Deep expertise in a relevant industry sector (e.g., Financial Services, Public Sector, Manufacturing) or technology domain (e.g., Cloud Transformation, Digital Strategy, Data & AI).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, TOGAF, ITIL).
• Experience with global delivery models and offshore/nearshore teams.
• Published articles or thought leadership contributions in relevant industry or technology areas.
• Fluency in additional languages.
