Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your culinary career with a global leader? McDonald’s Stanthorpe is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our kitchen team as a Grill Cook Trainee. No prior experience is required – we believe in nurturing talent and will provide full, comprehensive training from day one. Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master the preparation of various menu items according to McDonald's quality and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain grill equipment, fryers, and other kitchen tools.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station and kitchen area.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training provided!
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (training will be provided if none)
- Previous experience in a customer service role (advantageous but not required)
