Job Description
Are you a night owl with an eye for detail? Save-On-Foods in Trail, BC is looking for a dedicated Night Shift Shelf Facer to join our team. In this crucial role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our store aisles are perfectly stocked, organized, and ready for our customers each morning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, physically capable, and takes pride in their work. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a great attitude and a commitment to making our store shine!
Key Responsibilities
- Stock shelves, displays, and chillers with new merchandise according to planograms.
- Rotate products to ensure older items are at the front, minimizing waste.
- Face shelves, pulling all products forward to the edge of the shelf to create a neat and appealing presentation.
- Remove damaged or expired products from shelves.
- Assist with unloading and organizing incoming deliveries as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and aisles.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to presentation standards.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, stand, and move heavy items repeatedly (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of inventory rotation is a plus, but not required (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment (asset, not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
