Job Description
Are you energetic, detail-oriented, and love live music? Atlantic Concert Services is seeking a Concert Merchandise Counter Helper to join our dynamic team for upcoming events in Marystown. In this fast-paced role, you will be crucial in ensuring the efficient sale and management of artist merchandise, from accurate stock counting to providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of merchandise displays and sales areas before and after events.
- Accurately count incoming and outgoing merchandise stock, ensuring inventory records are correct.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling both cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales counter throughout the event.
- Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful customer service to concert-goers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve minor issues with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and event staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, venue regulations, and cash handling procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, and often loud concert environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail for precise stock counting and financial transactions.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills for excellent customer service.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic mathematical skills for quick calculations and change handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) as needed for merchandise setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or event support is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with concert environments or merchandise sales operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on concert schedules.
