Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of student engagement activities and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the Student Affairs team, including scheduling, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Respond to student inquiries, providing accurate information and directing them to appropriate resources.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of student support programs and initiatives.
  • Research best practices in student affairs and contribute ideas for program improvement.
  • Support the creation of communication materials for students, such as newsletters and social media content.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant tertiary program (e.g., Education, Business Administration, Social Sciences).
  • Strong interest in higher education and student welfare.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of initiative, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous volunteer or leadership experience in a student organization or community group.
