Job Description
Are you passionate about art and craft? Do you love helping others explore their creative side? We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Art Supplies Store Advisor to join our team in Porthcawl. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, offering expert advice, helping them find the perfect materials, and ensuring a fantastic shopping experience. If you have a keen interest in art supplies and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment, we want to hear from you! Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating specific art and craft supplies.
- Provide expert advice and product recommendations based on customer needs and project requirements.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till point.
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Restock shelves, create engaging displays, and manage inventory as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with new products, trends, and techniques in the art and craft world.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- A genuine passion for art, crafts, or creative hobbies.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented retail environment.
- Basic computer literacy for point-of-sale systems.
- Eagerness to learn about new products and techniques.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role (not essential, but a plus).

- Ability to speak Welsh (desirable, but not required).
