Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Investor Relations Assistant to join our corporate team in Dubbo. This role is crucial in supporting our Investor Relations (IR) department, ensuring effective communication with shareholders, analysts, and the wider investment community. You will play a key role in preparing financial communications, managing investor data, and assisting with logistical arrangements for investor engagements. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a foundational understanding of finance and excellent organizational skills to grow their career within a leading financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of investor presentations, quarterly earnings materials, annual reports, and press releases.
- Maintain and update investor databases, contact lists, and CRM systems with accurate and timely information.
- Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and other corporate events, including scheduling and material preparation.
- Respond to routine investor inquiries, information requests, and analyst questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor financial news, market trends, and competitor activities relevant to the company and the industry.
- Support the Investor Relations team with administrative tasks, project coordination, and general office support.
- Compile and analyze data related to shareholder ownership, trading activity, and market perceptions.
- Assist in the development and update of content for the investor relations section of the company website.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and capital markets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous administrative or support experience in a corporate, finance, or investor relations setting.
- Familiarity with investor relations software or CRM platforms.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
