Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Janitorial Support staff to join our team, working specifically within schools on a part-time day roster in the Gungahlin district. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, teachers, and staff. You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and cleaning surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
