Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Juice Pressing Plant Laborer to join our production team in Houston, TX. This active role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient processing and packaging of high-quality juice products. As a Plant Laborer, you will be involved in various stages of the juice production process, from fruit handling and pressing to packaging and quality control. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Full training will be provided for all tasks and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor juice pressing and processing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Load raw materials (fruits) into processing machinery and assist with preparation tasks.
- Monitor production lines for quality control, identify any issues, and report them to supervisors.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and production floors regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of finished juice products.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including moving materials and organizing inventory.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, food safety guidelines (HACCP, GMPs), and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) or food safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
