Job Description

Are you a motivated student eager to kickstart your career in the dynamic construction industry? Georgiou Group is offering an exciting part-time opportunity for a Junior Project Coordinator. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with little to no prior experience, providing comprehensive training and mentorship. You will work closely with experienced project managers and teams, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in project administration, documentation, and coordination within our fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers and teams with administrative tasks, including scheduling and document control.
  • Maintain project files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Prepare and distribute project communications, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
  • Support the coordination of project-related meetings, including room bookings and material preparation.
  • Assist in tracking project milestones and deadlines under supervision.
  • Learn and utilise project management software and internal systems.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant tertiary program (e.g., Construction Management, Business, Engineering).
  • Strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
