Job Description
Are you looking for a physically engaging role that offers a great workout and the satisfaction of working outdoors? Goodman Contractors is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our landscaping team as a Landscaping Rock Mover. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys manual labor, staying active, and contributing to the creation of stunning outdoor environments. Full training will be provided, focusing on safe lifting techniques and efficient wheelbarrow operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move rocks and other landscaping materials using a wheelbarrow.
- Assist with the placement of rocks according to landscape designs and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area, ensuring materials are stored correctly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Support other landscaping tasks as required, such as digging, raking, and general site cleanup.
- Operate wheelbarrows and other basic hand tools effectively.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical stamina and strength.
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and pushing.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or manual labor is a plus, but not required.
- A valid driver's license.
