Job Description
Are you looking to start a career in hospitality but have no prior experience? Harbourside Grill & Bistro is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our front-of-house team as Server / Wait Staff. We believe in potential and passion over experience, and we are committed to providing comprehensive, hands-on training to help you succeed. If you have a positive attitude, a desire to learn, and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you! This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to learn the ropes of restaurant service in a supportive and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests warmly upon their arrival.
- Presenting menus and informing guests about daily specials and promotions.
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into our POS system.
- Serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and responding to requests.
- Clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and assisting with general restaurant cleanliness.
- Handling payments accurately and processing transactions.
- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
