Job Description

Connells Estate Agents in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our thriving team as a Trainee Letting Agent. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn all aspects of property lettings from the ground up, with full training and support provided. Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training on all aspects of property lettings legislation and best practices.
- Assist senior Letting Agents with daily tasks, including client communication and property administration.
- Conduct accompanied property viewings for prospective tenants.
- Support the management of tenancy applications and referencing processes.
- Assist with the preparation of tenancy agreements and related documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Contribute to the branch's marketing efforts and local property market analysis.
- Attend regular training sessions and team meetings.
Required Skills
- A keen interest in the property industry and a desire to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Preferred Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Local knowledge of the Tettenhall and wider Wolverhampton area.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (non-property specific).
