Job Description

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Licensed Tradespersons across various disciplines to join our dynamic teams on major construction and maintenance projects in Port Hedland, Western Australia. This is a full-time, on-site role pivotal to the successful delivery of our critical projects within the resources and infrastructure sectors. You will be responsible for executing high-quality trade work in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and relevant industry regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled trade work across various disciplines including but not limited to Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Welding/Fabrication, and Mechanical fitting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and layout.
  • Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment and structures as required by project scope.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Australian Standards, building codes, and company safety procedures.
  • Operate various tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections of completed work.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members.
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Required Skills

  • Relevant Australian Trade Qualification (e.g., Certificate III or IV in a specific trade).
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
  • Current White Card (Construction Induction).
  • Proven experience as a Licensed Tradesperson, preferably in an industrial or large-scale construction environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High Risk Work Licenses (e.g., Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging).
  • Confined Space Entry and Work at Heights training.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience working on remote or fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) sites.
  • Additional trade qualifications or cross-skilling.
