Job Description
Join our dedicated night shift team at Tesco Chelmsford as a Box Breaker. This vital entry-level role ensures our liquor aisles are ready for restocking by efficiently breaking down cardboard boxes and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized backroom. No prior experience is necessary; full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. You’ll be a key part of our operations, helping to keep our store running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently break down and flatten cardboard boxes from deliveries.
- Operate baling equipment safely (training provided).
- Ensure backroom areas and aisles remain clear of debris and empty boxes.
- Assist with general store cleanliness and tidiness during the night shift.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and store procedures.
- Support the night team in other duties as required to maintain store standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality for night shift work.
