Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Reading and evaluating a high volume of unsolicited manuscript submissions across various genres.
- Writing clear, concise, and constructive reader reports and synopses.
- Identifying promising new voices and stories that align with the agency's taste and market needs.
- Providing initial feedback on manuscripts, highlighting strengths and weaknesses.
- Assisting agents with administrative tasks related to manuscript tracking and submission management.
- Participating in team meetings to discuss promising submissions and market trends.
- Conducting basic research on literary trends, comparable titles, and potential authors.
