Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Local Council Minibus Driver to join our Community Transport team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to make a meaningful difference in their community without prior professional driving experience. You will be responsible for safely transporting residents, including seniors and individuals with disabilities, to various appointments, social activities, and community hubs throughout Boulder. Full training, including necessary certifications and safety protocols, will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped for this rewarding role. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a community minibus safely and efficiently along designated routes and on-demand schedules.
- Assist passengers, including those with mobility challenges, with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate passenger logs and trip records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide friendly and respectful customer service to all passengers.
- Respond to passenger inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
