Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Operations Data Coordinator to join our team in Wodonga, focusing on our critical Civil & Mining projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of operational data, supporting project managers and operational teams with timely insights. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, validating, and reporting on various data streams crucial for project success and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and manage operational data from various sources including field reports, equipment logs, and project management systems.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular validation, reconciliation, and quality control checks.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to provide insights into project performance, resource utilization, and operational KPIs.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable information.
- Maintain and update databases and data management systems, ensuring all records are current and accessible.
- Identify and implement opportunities for data collection and reporting process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and documentation based on operational data analysis.
- Support compliance with data governance policies and standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with data entry and database management
Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Data Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
- Understanding of civil engineering or mining project lifecycles
