Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload packages from company vehicles and containers.
- Sort and scan packages according to destination and shipping requirements.
- Safely move packages, utilizing manual lifting techniques and material handling equipment when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally (with assistance).
- Strong attention to detail for accurate sorting and scanning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of English for safety and communication.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret package labels and instructions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
