Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Valet Parking Attendants to join our esteemed team for casual evening shifts. As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our discerning guests, setting the tone for their luxurious stay. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, a meticulous approach to vehicle handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for safely and courteously parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and providing warm, welcoming interactions. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas.
  • Maintain an organized and clean valet parking area.
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and other belongings.
  • Provide information and directions to guests regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Handle car keys securely and maintain an accurate key log.
  • Report any vehicle damage or unusual circumstances to management immediately.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
  • Operate all vehicles in a careful and cautious manner, respecting guests' property.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Required Skills

  • Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a valet, hospitality, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with Albury's local area and attractions.
  • First Aid certification.
