Key Responsibilities

• Assist social workers and case managers with administrative tasks, record-keeping, and documentation.
• Support clients by providing information about available community resources and services.
• Help coordinate appointments, meetings, and outreach activities.
• Observe and participate in client interviews and home visits under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.
• Learn and apply social work principles, policies, and procedures.
• Participate actively in all training sessions and workshops provided.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other community partners.

Required Skills

• Strong commitment to helping others and a genuine interest in social work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous volunteer experience in a community service or helping role.
• Basic understanding of the social challenges faced by diverse populations.
• A valid Ontario Class G Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle would be an asset.
