Job Description
Are you a passionate and aspiring biology student eager to gain practical experience in a leading research environment? CSIRO offers an exciting Paid Bio Intern opportunity focusing on both fundamental research and clinical applications. This entry-level role is designed for individuals with no prior professional experience, providing comprehensive training and mentorship. You will contribute to vital projects, learn diverse laboratory techniques, and gain exposure to the intricate process of scientific discovery and its translation into clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers with experimental setup and execution in laboratory settings.
- Support data collection, organization, and preliminary analysis for ongoing projects.
- Conduct literature reviews to gather background information for research initiatives.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on research progress.
- Aid in the preparation of biological samples for analysis.

- Provide administrative support for clinical trial documentation and patient recruitment efforts (under supervision).
