Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team in Reading. This is a part-time position, working three days per week, designed for an individual who thrives in a supportive role and can efficiently manage a variety of administrative tasks. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our office, providing essential support to various departments and contributing to a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for team members.
- Prepare, edit, and format documents, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.
- Organise and maintain physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist with office supplies management, inventory, and procurement.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation as needed.
- Act as the first point of contact for general inquiries, redirecting as appropriate.
- Support event planning and coordination for internal meetings or team activities.
- Perform general data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support the team's objectives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar administrative role (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with telecommunications industry practices.
- Experience with office management software or CRM systems.
- A relevant administrative qualification or certification.
