Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start in a dynamic work environment? FedEx Ground in Lewisville, TX is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Parcel Sorter for night shifts. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, paid training to ensure your success! Key Responsibilities
- Manually sort packages and freight by destination and routing code
- Scan package barcodes using handheld scanners
- Load and unload trailers with various types of packages
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Operate material handling equipment safely after training
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily sorting goals
Required Skills
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages as required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail for accurate sorting
- Reliable transportation to and from the Lewisville facility
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- No prior experience required; full training provided
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar physical role (not required, but a plus)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
