Job Description
Are you passionate about food and eager to learn the art of baking? Woolworths Goulburn Bakery is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Pastry Assistant Trainee to join our early morning team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with no prior experience in a bakery setting, as full training will be provided. You will learn the fundamentals of pastry production, from preparing ingredients to baking and finishing our wide range of delicious products. Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced bakers with ingredient preparation, mixing, and shaping.
- Operate and clean bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area.
- Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards before display.
- Package and display finished products attractively.
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and company policies.
- Learn new baking techniques and recipes as guided by senior staff.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- No prior baking experience required; full, comprehensive training will be provided.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for early morning shifts.

- Basic communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

- Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
