Job Description
We are excited to offer an entry-level opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our pediatric team as a Pediatric Assistant. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about healthcare and eager to make a positive impact on young patients and their families, even with no prior experience. As a Pediatric Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pediatric unit, assisting nurses and doctors, and providing comfort and support to children and their parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, including vital signs, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sterilized and readily available.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment in the pediatric unit.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to young patients and their families.
- Transport patients and equipment as needed within the hospital.
- Document patient information accurately under supervision.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing patient files and managing supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
