Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Pharmacy Assistant to join our team for casual weekend shifts at our Keysborough South store. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the pharmacy sector, or for an individual who thrives in a customer-focused retail environment. You will play a vital role in assisting customers, supporting the pharmacists, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store during busy weekend hours. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries, helping them locate products and providing basic product information.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked retail area.
- Receive, unpack, and price incoming stock.
- Assist with merchandising and ensuring shelves are tidy and visually appealing.
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and store policies.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
