Job Description
Are you a friendly, approachable individual with a passion for helping people? Moreton Transit Solutions is seeking enthusiastic Public Transport Hosts to join our team at transit hubs in North Lakes. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our services, providing assistance, information, and support to passengers, ensuring a positive and seamless travel experience. We believe in providing comprehensive training, so while customer service experience is a plus, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are what truly matter. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist passengers at designated transit hubs, providing directions and general information.
- Help passengers navigate ticketing systems, mobile apps, and route information.
- Act as a first point of contact for passenger inquiries, concerns, and feedback, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
- Monitor platform and waiting areas to ensure passenger safety and report any unusual activities or maintenance needs.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including those with disabilities or young children, to board and alight vehicles safely.
- Provide real-time updates on service delays, changes, or disruptions clearly and calmly.
- Collaborate with operational staff and security teams to ensure smooth hub operations.
- Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor, contributing to a positive public transport image.
