Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Storesperson Offsider to join our team in Esperance on a casual basis. This role is perfect for individuals looking for day shifts with weekly pay, offering a fantastic opportunity to kick-start a career in logistics. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to the successful candidate. You will be responsible for assisting with various warehouse and stores duties, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, checking, and storage of incoming goods.
- Support the preparation and dispatch of outgoing orders.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring tidiness and accessibility.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and tidying workstations.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment under supervision (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is a plus, but not essential.
- Forklift (LF) license or a willingness to obtain one.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
